FAQ

How do I play music?

On the Playlists tab, search for tracks from YouTube and SoundCloud, and add them to Playlists. Click the "PLAY 🎵" button to join the DJ table. When it's your turn to DJ, the top track of your selected "DJ Playlist" will play next.

All the DJ spots are filled. How do I get in line or whatever?

When the DJ table is full you will find a Waitlist above the list of people in the room. Click the "Join Waitlist" button to get in line. When it's your turn, you'll take a spot at the DJ table and your songs will start playing.

Is there a limit to how many songs I can play?

Yes and no. If there are DJs on the Waitlist, you get to play 2 songs while on deck before Jarvis moves you to the Waitlist. If there is no one waiting, you can play indefinitely.

Who is Jarvis?

Jarvis is a bot. He keeps the order.

Does everything stop working if Jarvis leaves?

The chat and managing your Playlists will keep working, but tracks will stop progressing until the bot returns.

Can I change my name?

Yes. Click on your avatar for options, including changing your username. Your username must be unique in the room, and can be no longer than 20 characters.

Can I change my robot avatar?

Robot avatars are generated based on a combination of your username and userid. So if you change your username, you'll also be changing your robot.
